Peik Teng's BAD Internship experience! LOL!

Hmm… how’s my practical training leh???

I had my internship at Christopher Heng located at JLN IPOH, Kuala Lumpur and company it has 3 departments, can say is 3 different co, tax department ( Christopher heng tax consulting sdn.bhd.), audit department ( Christopher heng & company) and secretarial department (Mutiara secretarial services sdn.bhd)… u all didn't see the co website (www.christopherheng.com) so pro… but actually the office i worked in is ok only lor… in addition not enuf pc for the staffs lor.. tats why I share pc n job wif my fren( chingzhang). But hor, the boss everyday wan ask me why share pc with my fren although my supervisor ady told him tat not enuf pc… i think he tends to forgot lar…

Hmm firstly mr.chin was resigned at the 1^st day I went to work… further by the other stuff (shilling) was resigned after 1 week I work there… (mr. yeow and mr koh) the other staffs and audit manager resign after 3 weeks.. and the only senior and also my senior say will resign tis week… ops…. Now… the audit co juz left few new staffs and new trainees… hmm… u all sure will say.. its like tat one lah… the turnover of the audit firm is high… but my senior tell me is cuz d salary low… and OT no money juz can exchange leave (OT 8 hours= 1 days leave) so different working style lor....

Now talk about my audit manager (she formerly is tax but change to audit after audit manager resign).. d 1^st impression with her is not bad… she quite good.. always smile to us…

Hmm… now is time to talk about my supervisor . hmm… when started feel the supervisor not bad… but… after few weeks feel that he is so geli… why leh? Cuz starting to know his pattern.. his walking style so geli.. like a gal … 挺胸，翘屁股… n say .. if I fainted den pls help him call his “abang” come n do the 人工呼吸… gg lah…. Started feel his is a gay.. keke… sumore he always teach us to change figure of the accounts… suka suka change it… the amount can form a immateriality to a material amount… it make my friend so scare… sumore he always throw some work that the deadline is close to us.. if we tell him the boss or manager nid it ady, n can help us for some part that we duno, den he will say … 不要管他，慢慢来。 Hmm.. he sure say like that ma, when the boss or manager ask him, he will say who who who do it one… and is get from us not him ma… unless the manager ask him to help… haihz… luckily i never kena by the manager or boss.. when the manager ask me about the work.. den I will tell her.. “ oh.. I duno do tat part” den she will ask my supervisor to help me.. hehe…

Hmm… now talk about d one of colleague tat I don’t like… hmm.. he always wan act pro although he is a new staff n juz work for 1 month. When my supervisor in, he act like a cat.. when my supervisor not in den he start to act kepo… y leh? Cuz the manager ask me to do 1 company and juz ask me to do the draft report only.. n d co wad info aso dun hv.. den I go ask another experience senior.. and d senior aso duno… but he kepo come n say.. “ wah.. urs one so ez to do” when I discuss with tat senior… after tat I tell him “ since so ez to do, how abot I ask d manager to gif u do loh” when he heard tat he quickly say I still hv things to do and run away… really gg… after tat, he come again and say me.. “ why u do the draft report 1^st? u need do other step 1^st!!!” den I tell him the manager ask me to this only lah.. this aso nvm… after that he come n say me again .. “ why u do the draft report 1^st? u need do other step 1^st!!!” he so fan!!!! But when my supervisor got in the office.. den he act like a cat… never never never kepo us…. Sit in his place diam diam do his work… din hear his sound pun! U c gg bo… still got 1 time, he stand beside d Photostat machine, n my friend( stand nearby but cant take o c any print out paper ) juz wan ask him to see tat whether his thing is print out o not, n dint hv d mean to ask him take it. but, u all know wad he answer? “ 你不会自己走过来拿啊?” since u stand beside it u take a while will die meh? Really gg!!!

Hmm.. the other trainees that work with me is 3 afa student , 1 AAC student and 2 ICSA students.. but… got 2 afa friend is work under tax department and our lunch time is different. I have lunch with the internship fren exclude d tax department fren, supervisor, that gg colleague, n few new staff. Cuz we work at a gg complex, so we eat at d food court there loh.. nothing special with d food but juz normal… n d price is abot rm3.50 – rm 4.50 like tat…

Hmm.. in this internship let me see many kind of people tat will happen in our future working life… hmm.. quite interesting n got learn something about auditing using audit software ( audit express) . beside tat , I also can know tat in something in our exam may important like accounting ratio formula , audit procedures etc, in working life d software will generate for it after we key in d trial balance n do grouping… really gg… now I still thinking why we need memorize those thing … gg !!!

So in the end the company was great!!

It call Orange Internet Sdn Bhd. What so special about tis company? NO, dun hv any special. Y i work at there since no special? cos suitable for such a non-special ppl like me. no la, cos internship less salary and maybe will rugi too...furthermore i work at there b4, then mar work lo.!!

O: Who is your boss, who is your senior?

K: My boss ar? we call him MOR TAO(devil) cos his face like a devil, no smile 4ever geh. And like to make trouble to us and let us troubleshoot it...I no many contact with him geh. Y leh? famous word come out from him is -你认为呢? while we ask for his opinion, so we dun hv contact with him since oledi noe the answer.

O: wat do you practically do during internship hours?

K: wat i do??? wat can i do inside a CC wor? oni sit at counter and wait customer come see me for 3 second and i smile smile to them lo..some time no song the kid customer will scold them make them paiseh...or restrict them come in who with skul uniform.

O: What do they require you to do when you are in the office?What is their expectation on you?

K: Geng lo!!! they hv give me a Policy oso althought i am a little part timer. wan hv a look on the policy? 1. Improve business system 2. up to date games and programs 3. well keep facilities bla bla bla...walao eh,gg la boss!!! tis thing let his top management to settle la!! y make trouble to little staff wor??? earn u so little wan make us do many many...

O: Do you have your own desk?

K: got ar... the size very big oso geh!!! got pc geh!!! got speaker geh!! can online geh!!! can on9 watch video geh!!! can see comic on9 geh!!!

O:How much is your salary per month?

K: Sei Mr ong!!! y wan ask salary??? wan rampas my part time job??? dun wan tell u jor!!! so confidencial geh thing where can let u noe geh? u think me siao meh!!!

O: The place that you are working at, is it convenient for you? Example where do you head for lunch.....How did you go to working place?

K: very mafan de!!! tis oso wan ask!!! tell la tell la... near TARC de, desa setapak, can say convenient lo, driving go there geh.!! ok?? haiz... dun ask lunch, cos i no lunch time geh!!!! diu...makan sini, cuci sini, bang sai bang liu oso sini.....T.T

O:What do you gain from the internship?

K: got gain got gain!!! learn from senior geh thing:
不会做就拖， 拖不来就闪， 闪不及就避，避不开就慢慢做， 做不完就cincai做到完， 做错了就赖， 赖不掉就改， 改不了就学， 学不好就不做。
so conclusion is : my job = sien !!!

Kean Hung's Internship Review(Penang)

I went for interview with Au Yang, and Jia Hong at GEP Associates A.K.A Ewe&Co .

The first day we went there we waited for 1 hour in the office. The office is quite small like small house without any notice board in that a company. quite a dull place if you ask me. After a while we were shocked to hear that we will not be working for the firm, because they said GEP no longer existing. It will be taken over by another firm call Tan Beng Teik&Co. That is a secretarial and tax firm. Our audit firm will join with them then it made known to us that audit firm is called Kck&Associates.

First thing to learn about is statutory audit. Afterward you will learn more about test check for a company expenses, bank and cash transactions test, use lotus software to do all audit reports and all the extended trial balance and balance sheet so on and so fort. The audit report and confirmation letter quite easy because. The format is fixed. You just have to change the date and amount.

The staffs are quite good and nice to us. It was a surprise because we join the firm for a few day already have a female staff birthday and we all celebrated with her…...haha.. Then work for 1 week like that, the audit department have 2 staffs leaving this company…...We had a farewell party with them, we went to Japanese restaurant. Actually what we had for lunch is economic rice only ..

Everyday all staff had their lunch at conference room. We did not went out eat eventhough we have 1 hour break, because the parking cost RM 4 per entry and nothing to eat in our near by office area ..So we always call telephone to ask for delivery food…..

Forget tell that our firm is located at Gurney Tower 26th floor. That is an office tower, a total of 36 floors. Working place is still ok, but it is better than GEP ...Everyday keep repeating the same work, but different company thus we can learn more special cases. Actualy just keep working, I heard that trainee will have a chance to go out factory or other client’s firm to do audit and learn but I do not have this opportunity yet.....haha.. If you all wishes know what then email me. I will answer.

Conclusion for internship in this company is quite fun and nice. You get to learn a lot of things. haha…..

In case you do not know ....I tell you, my salary is RM 400 only whereas, Jia Hong is RM 300 only. Working at Penang working salary is like that. I have a lot of fun such as I can see a nice view from my office, located at 26th floor, and we had a farewell party with the present staffs. Oh by the way, if you want to work in this firm, the uniform, which is formal will be provided for you therefore you can see why we all dress up so different with the present staffs. It is a sign that we are trainees. Besides that my friend and I had an experience of becoming a passenger in our employer’s car, Honda Accord….He drove very fast so we all sat quietly behind…..That’s all
